RegMed Forum 2017 – Advanced Disease Models, (Berlin)
Event Date: 6 December 2017
In regenerative medicine, the efficient development of new therapy options, such as cell therapies, requires suitable in-vitro disease model systems beyond the current standard.
Innovative 3D cell culture approaches, 3D bioprinting and organ-on-a-chip model systems have all seen tremendous progress over the last decade. Now, even multi-organ-on-a-chip models are within reach. All these systems are reproducing in-vivo conditions of human health and disease in unprecedented ways.
The Berlin-Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies (BCRT) and Berlin Partner are jointly organising the RegMed Forum 2017 on December, 6th 2017 in Berlin.
This year, the international conference will focus on how the combination of technology and disease modelling can achieve physiologically relevant results and, ultimately, clinical impact.
