BaltCityPrevention – Baltic Cities tackle lifestyle related diseases: Meet Anna-Lena Pohl at ScanBalt Forum

Pohl-221

In BaltCityPrevention, funded by the Interreg Vb program, 15 partners from 7 countries will test a more user-oriented approach to develop and implement prevention and health promotion interventions.

Current prevention measures are often ineffective, since the methods are not tailored to the users. Thus, the prevention measures will be developed together with the users. New technologies will be employed in the planning procedures and also as innovative tools for prevention purposes.

Networking between public health authorities and eHealth companies is also a big part in the project.

Speaker: Anna-Lena Pohl, Research Associate, Project Manager at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences

Anna-Lena Pohl has studied in Kiel / Germany and Aberdeen / Scotland and has a degree in political sciences. Since November 2012 she is working for the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, managing the eHealth for Regions Network, conducting own research in eHealth Literacy and is engaged as project manager in international projects.
