Innovations and cross-border infra-structures for a better health care in focus at the 6th EUSBSR Annual Forum

The VI Annual Forum of the EUSBSR, ‘Achieving e-Quality by Connecting the Region’, will be held on 15-16 June in Jūrmala, Latvia. It will be one of the large-scale international events hosted during the Latvian presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Tuesday 16 June 9.00 – 10.30 a workshop will discuss innovations and cross-border infra-structures for a better health care. The workshop focuses on innovative solutions for tackling key challenges in health care in the Baltic Sea region.

The presentations show approaches to challenges such as ageing societies and the spread of multimorbidities, a better cost-effectiveness with a view to prevention and empowerment of citizen and the smart and patient centred use of information and communication technologies in health care.

The speakers will examine the common challenges and joint approaches in addressing them, followed by discussion
involving the audience.
