STZ OcuTox: Drug development know-how

STZ OcuTox is a Steinbeis company located at the University Hospital Tübingen, and supplies industrial partners with drug development know-how.

It specialises in preclinical ophthalmological examinations on various experimental animals, and carries out all kinds of electron microscopic and ophthalmological examinations. This helps, combined with molecular biological techniques, in understanding the mode of action of toxicological and other pathological changes in eye tissue.

The testing procedures are available for most experimental animals and animal models, or can be acquired in a short time.
