Future and Emerging Technologies (FET)
The successful exploration of new foundations for radically new future technologies requires supporting a large set of early stage, high risk visionary science and technology projects to investigate new ideas. Here agile, risk-friendly and highly interdisciplinary research approaches are needed with collaborations that are open to all sciences and disciplines and that dissolve the traditional boundaries between them.

PPP “Innovative Medicines Initiative 2” (IMI2)
IMI is Europe’s largest public-private initiative aiming to speed up the development of better and safer medicines for patients.
The last cut off date under the 8th call focusses one future outbreaks of Ebola and other filoviral haemorrhagic fevers.

SME Instrument
SMEs are invited to submit proposals under the SME instrument at any time within all Societal Challenges and Leadership in Enabling and Industrial Technologies areas. Depending on which phase you are interested to apply for (Feasibility study Phase 1, from concept to market Phase 2), the following next cut-off days exist:

HORIZON PRIZE – Low carbon hospital – € 1 million
The Horizon prize for Combined Heat and Power (CHP) installation in a hospital using 100% renewable energy sources will reward a hospital that has an innovative and perfectly integrated combined CHP installation within its premises.
The contest has been launched and you can apply until 3 April 2019.

Pre-commercial procurement of 2 EU-Project ANTI–SUPERBUGS and STARS
The ANTI–SUPERBUGS pre-commercial procurement aims to improve the quality of care processes in hospital and the reduction of both the costs and the collateral effects provoked by Multi-Drug Resistant Organisms (MDROs, otherwise known as Superbugs) and other Health Associated Infections (HAIs) pathogens, through the development and testing of prototypes of devices and ICT services
Prior to the tender Open Market Consultation (OMC) will be organized before the publication of the Invitation to Tender in order to improve the mutual understanding between the ANTISUPERBugs procurers’ groups and the industry.
STARS will invite the industry to tender for a personalised eHealth solution to reduce stress of patients related to healthcare procedures. Similar to the above, Open Market Consultation will be organized prior to the tendering procedure.
SUPERBIO
SUPERBIO aims to develop innovative cross boarder value chains in the bio-economy. It engages with companies and other industrial stakeholders that want to build innovative cross-border value chains around their activities and that are interested in innovation services to bring the value chain closer to the market. The project provides coaching and advising, will validate ideas for new value chains submitted by companies, will help building new value chains and provide innovation support services to SMEs part of validated value chains that are essential elements for their business planning and to create further leverage.
Applications are welcome until end of 2018.
