Alexandra Rynio reports on her Novo-ScanBalt master scholarship visit to Novo Nordisk

Alexandra Rynios (from Gdansk, Poland), in connection with her Novo-ScanBalt Master Scholarship, visited and worked in the laboratories at Novo Nordisk in Denmark for two weeks. During her two week stay, in late June this year, Alexandra worked on cytokine identification, peripheral blood mononuclear cell culturing and flow cytometric analysis of cell surface markers.

After a very sucessful trip she has written an interesting and entertaining report describing both her scientific research and experiences in Copenhagen.

The scholarship enabled the visit to Novo Nordisk and allowed Alexandra to finish her Master Thesis research work a year early – this means she is well prepared for her PhD studies!
