Baltic countries join Nordplus, the grant programmes for mobility and co-operation in the educational sector

Baltic countries join Nordplus, the Nordic programmes for mobility and co-operation in the educational sector.

The  new generation of the Nordplus programme was approved, which will be extended to cover the Baltic countries from 2008.

The Nordplus programmes for mobility and co-operation in the educational sector will be concentrated into a better co-ordinated and more targeted single framework programme. The Baltic countries will also be encouraged to join Nordplus Sprog (Nordplus Languages). The programme budgets amount to approximately DKK 70 million p.a., making this the largest single joint Nordic-Baltic project under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers.
