EDCTP – Clinical Trials Partnership
EDCTP is to accelerate the development of new clinical interventions to fight HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis in developing countries (DCs), particularly sub-Saharan Africa, and to improve generally the quality of research in relation to these diseases.
EDCTPs objectives are reached through the execution of the Joint Programme, comprising of the NPs of the participating European states, the institutional and/or national programmes in the DCs, the EDCTP-funded activities and co-funded activities in partnerships with other initiatives and/or industry.
