ERC puts forward recommendations on bolstering the ERA
The Scientific Council of the European Research Council (ERC) has responded to the European Commission’s Green Paper on the relaunch of the European Research Area (ERA) with five recommendations.  The suggestions include: giving the ERC more autonomy according to the established legislation; increasing research resources; improving the efficiency of training schemes and forging tighter ties between frontier research and innovation.
