European Federation of Biotechnology: Vacancy for a Scientific Assistant
The European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB) is seeking new staff members for its central office, which is relocating to Barcelona, Spain, and which will begin operations on the 1st March 2005.
A position is available for a scientific assistant, who will work directly with and provide support to the General Secretary, the President and other Executive Board Members, executing administrative actions on their behalf, providing organizational support and facilitating communications.
The successful candidate will have experience working in an international environment, with fluent English and at least one other European language. The candidate is a team player capable of working closely with the General Secretary while supporting the President and Executive Board. Ideally they will hold a graduate degree or PhD in biotechnology or the life sciences.
