European Innovation Conference: April 21-22, Poland
The European regions knowledge based innovation (ERIK) network, the innovating regions in Europe (IRE) network and the Malopolska region are organising a conference on ‘technological innovation and regional cohesion in a wider Europe’ that will take place on 21 and 22 April in Krakow, Poland.
The event will focus on two main topics: the importance of innovation policies for regional competitiveness, and the role played by innovative business incubators.
Representatives of various Directorates General of the European Commission will offer a comprehensive overview of the latest policy developments in the fields of innovation and competitiveness in an enlarged EU, including the role of the structural funds, cohesion policies, the European Research Area and European industrial policy.
