European Library launches new ‘co-operative framework’

Europes national libraries will shortly be linked through a new portal, TEL (The European Library).
Owned by the Conference of European Libraries, formally as an EU project, it is supported by participating libraries and will provide a cooperative framework for development and innovation in metadata, interoperability, and other technical areas.
