The Gate2Growth Initiative has been launched by the European Commission’s Directorate General enterprise to contribute to the Lisbon strategy of making the EU the world’s most dynamic and competitive knowledge economy by 2010.

At the core of Gate2Growth lie 4 Thematic Networks: Incubator Forum, ProTon Europe (Technology Tranfer), InvestorNet and the Academic Network. Since 2000, when Gate2Growth was launched, the Initiative has successfully managed to attract over 300 members. Gate2Growth is now an ever growing community, designed to support early stage entrepreneurship in different regions, with many direct services to entrepreneurs like the Venture Academies, a one-day training designed to give direct feedback to entrepreneurs on the investors presentation.
