Improving Intellectual Property Rights in ScanBalt BioRegion – ScanBalt responds to EU biotechnology strategy consultation.

ScanBalt responds twofold to the EU public consultation on ‘Life sciences and biotechnology – a strategy for Europe’

ScanBalt Intellectual Property Knowledge Network, IPKN
has published a ScanBalt position paper on IP. The EU consultationon the life science and biotechnology strategy 2002-2010 evoked great interest among Intellectual Property (IP) researchers and professionals in the ScanBalt Region and led to the now available “ScanBalt Position Paper on IP”. We are proud to bring in that paper as our comment to the review of the life science and biotechnology strategy.

Hoping, that our comments will improve the IP awareness within the biotech strategy until 2010 and being sure that smart IP utilization will boost the life sciences and biotechnology research and appliances in the European Union,
