Innovation in Latvia – A Strategy for the Future

At the recent Baltic Dynamics conference CORDIS news interviewed Gundega Lapina, a project manager in Latvias Innovation Relay Centre. In the interview she describes the challenges for Latvia in promoting innovation and explains that much of the work of the IRC is introducing the innovative concept and culture. The article also includes an interview with Dr. Stabulnieks, managing director of the Latvian Technology Centre. He frankly discusses the challenges for the transition of Latvia to a knowledge economy.
