INTERREG call focusing on Russia, now open

TACIS call

The planned activities must therefore mainly take place in the territories of the partner states (Russia, Belarus) or be for the benefit of these countries. However the applicants should as much as possible ensure that the activities are nevertheless of mutual benefit for respective parts of both: EU territory as well as the territory of partner countries.

The focus of this call  are measures 3.1 and 3.2:
Measure 3.1 promotes institutional co-operation on a transnational basis
The following thematic focus (selected. ed.) of the projects will be prioritized:
• joint transnational spatial planning and development efforts;
• joint public-private activities setting up conditions for SME development;
• activities to increase transparency of the business environment
• setting-up networks of companies/enterprises with mutual interest of developing new markets and business contacts;
• activities promoting entrepreneurship, incl. setting-up of business incubators;
• R&D activities and dissemination of information, especially within the IT-sector;

Measure 3.2 Bilateral maritime co-operation across the Baltic Sea
The following thematic focus (selected. ed.) of the projects will be prioritized:
• activities promoting entrepreneurship, incl. incubators;
• activities to increase transparency of the business environment and facilitating bilateral and international business co-operation;
• R&D activities and information dissemination, especially within the IT-sector;

Project size
The contribution from the Tacis fund to the measure 3.1 projects: minimum EUR 300.000
The contribution from the Tacis fund to the measure 3.1 projects: minimum EUR 100.000
however projects with even larger Tacis contribution will be preferred.
The maximum duration of projects approved in this is 24 months.
