Nature publishing group is new ScanBalt sponsor

New collaboration with Nature Publishing GroupNature Publishing Group (NPG) is very pleased to announce a new collaboration with ScanBalt and is currently offering members a free site license trial to NPG’s wide range of scientific and medical journals.

NPG publishes journals and online databases across the life, physical and applied sciences and most recently, clinical medicine.   Nature is the flagship journal for NPG and is the world’s foremost weekly scientific journal.  For information on NPG’s full range of publications and their impact, go to the NPG catalog.

A NPG site license provides the convenience of flexible, desktop access to all users within an institution.  Licensed content can be selected from Nature and its associated research journals, high impact Nature Reviews and leading society journals.  Site-wide access is controlled via IP recognition, enabling every scientist, researcher or student within an institution to access the nature.com platform 24 hours a day.  NPG site license pricing is based on institution type and is tiered according to the number of users.  Archives can be included with the license.

Site license access is organised at an institutional level, usually by the Library or Information Manager.  If you would like to recommend site license access to your library, complete a form here and pass on your recommendation.  Free trials are not available to individuals.

If you are the Librarian or Information Officer for your institution and would like to receive more information about a site license orstart a free trial to any of NPG’s publications, register your interest here before November 9th or contact Rebecca Schlag on +44 (0) 0207 843 4904 or for more information.  Alternatively visit www.nature.com/libraries to find out more about a NPG site license.
