New DanuBalt Report: Health Innovation Enablers

New DanuBalt Report: Health Innovation Enablers

Identifying remedial actions to remove critical blockages to use of enablers in modest and moderate innovator regions in the Baltic Sea and Danube macro-regions.

The interviews that provide the primary data for this report are a next step in the process of developing a consensus framework for health innovation enablers.

A guide and resource that modest and moderate innovator regions (as identified in the Regional Innovation ScoreBoard 2014) believe is needed to improve their capacity and capability as health innovators.

The specific purpose of the interviews was to further validate those health innovation enablers initially identified through a systematic literature review and subsequently reviewed and then rated as critical or optional in three subsequent Stakeholder Forums in Jurmala, Bucharest and Budapest.

As important, these interviews offer a deeper insight into local contexts in which the health innovation enablers are used or needed.

In particular, the interviewees provided a better understanding of those factors that are limiting health innovation potential among modest and moderate innovator regions in the Baltic Sea and Danube Macro-Regions.

These and other limiting factors will be targeted by remedial actions.
