New network for young researchers

A virtual network for young practitioners working on science and society issues has been launched – a direct outcome of a European Commission and Joint Research Centre (JRC) conference held in November 2003.

The network acts not only as a platform for researchers working on science and society issues, but as a forum for exchanging information on interests, events and relevant literature. The network will eventually be extended beyond the research community to non-governmental organisations (NGOs) , policy makers and the media.
