Open call for new partners: GA2LEN, the Global Allergy and Asthma European Network of Excellence.

GA²LEN is a consortium of partners active in the field of allergy and asthma (clinical, research and education activities) and is inviting European institutions and centres of excellence in allergy and asthma to become a part of the GA²LEN network as collaborating centres.

Nine areas were selected for research: influence of nutrition, infection, occupation and pollution on development of allergy and asthma, gender issues in allergy, IgE sensitization and airway remodelling, clinical care, and genetics.

Collaborating centres will have access to the programmes of the Network and the Network will be able to subcontract work to these centres where appropriate.

Organisations can join as a GA²LEN collaborating centre or as a GA²LEN collaborating centre for specific tasks, work packages or clinical collaboration. At a later stage, the collaborating centres may become GA²LEN partner.

– Centres of Excellence in allergy and asthma
– Societies, working groups, companies, enterprises active in the area of allergy and asthma.
