Pigs as Spare Part Factories: Open Hearing at Chalmers Biocenter, Sweden
Chalmers Biocenter and the Swedish Gene Technology Advisory Board welcome you to an open hearing about xenotransplantation.
What happens when you need a new heart or a new liver? Should we manufacture our own spare parts or should we obtain parts from other species? Should we have pig farms for production of organs or will we able to grow organs in cell culture laboratories?
