Professorship Position in Molecular Biology, Aarhus University, Denmark

At the Department of Molecular Biology a position as associate professor in Molecular Biology of Milk Proteins is available for appointment from December 1, 2005.

The position is associated to a group focusing on milk proteins. The research group has previously purified and characterized a number of milk protein and is now studying the biological activities of the identified proteins using in vitro on in vivo systems.

Candidates must be trained in the field of molecular biology of biochemistry and must have
documented research experience in protein chemistry. Applicants with experience relevant for the research group mentioned above will be preferred.
The successful applicant is expected to teach undergraduate, graduate and post graduate students in molecular biology and to establish new courses within the fields of food and human nutrition. Demonstrated talents for research leadership, for attracting external funding, and for training of young researchers are additional qualifications. The candidate is expected to develop extensive collaborations with national and internal research institutions as well as with companies.
