Public money to market Swedish Biotech
Public money to market Swedish Biotech.
The Swedish government has decided to give two million SEK to the international marketing efforts of Swedish biotechnology, with a focus on drug development and bioproduction. The objective is to increase foreign direct investments in Sweden.
The money will be used in information and marketing efforts, of mainly medical companies, in interesting and fast-growing markets, such as India and China.
Uppsala, Stockholm and the Mälardal region as well as Skåne will particularly benefit from the attention of this project.
The project is carried out by the Invest in Sweden Agency (ISA) in cooperation with the regional investment agencies, public authorities, institutions and companies.
