Regions of Knowledge

The European Commission has launched a call for proposals for ‘Regions of Knowledge’ under the ‘support for the coherent development of policies’ section of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).

Proposals are invited to address the following objective: to promote and better regional investment in research through mutual learning, coordination and collaboration between regional policies and initiatives by applying the following: foresight; benchmarking; networking; coordination activities; exchange of personnel.
