The 25 recommendations try, where possible, to address the relevant actors. Sometimes they
also take the tone of a ‘code of conduct’. Hence these recommendations should function partly
as a ‘code of conduct’ for any actor in the field of genetic testing and partly as an ‘action plan
for genetic testing’ to be implemented by policy-makers in the near future.
