ScanBalt Agro-Biotech RMS participants win potato disease funding
Participants of the AB-RMS have built on the critical mass of their network and obtained a 4-year long project from Nordic donors (Nordisk kontaktorgan för jordbruksforsking, NKJ), worth approximately ca. 400,000 Euro per year, with additional support from multinational companies working on potato branch to study Potato mop-top virus, a serious potato production constraint in Nordic countries. Most of the ScanBalt and AB-RMS countries will be directly involved in the research. The University of Helsinki will coordinate the Potato moptop virus consortium.
