Scanbalt Approves Affiliated memberships

The General Assembly of ScanBalt™ fmba has approved the acceptance of affiliated members into the organization. Affiliated members can i.e. be regions, companies, networks and institutions which are not physically located within the original ScanBalt BioRegion but would like to strengthen ties with Life sciences on Top of Europe for mutual benefits.

Prof. Hans-Robert Metelmann, Chairman of ScanBalt says “Encouraged by the interest from other regions to collaborate with ScanBalt BioRegion we have decided to establish affiliated memberships. The aim is to support our members in their constant strive to identify new opportunities for doing business, establish research collaborations and attract competencies and resources. It is a step forward for ScanBalt towards promoting Global Match Making”.
