ScanBalt Bridge BSR – First regional round table set in Klaipeda

The first of five regional round tables takes place in Klaipeda, Lithuania June 25th 2009. The main topic is “How to make (Life) Science‘s achievements attractive for enterprises in Klaipeda Region “ . The regional round table is organised by the Bridge-BSR (EU FP 7) project partner BioCon Valley® and hosted by the University of Klaipeda. The Round table is set to implement recommendations from the Bridge-BSR Innovation Council on how to strengthen collaboration between Academia and SMEs. An aim of Bridge-BSR is to improve coordination between EU-funds plus national and regional public-private investments. Bridge-BSR is also a practical tool to implement the new EU Baltic Sea Region strategy. The 1-day regional round table will be combined with visits to Klaipeda University and the Klaipeda Science and Technology Park.
