ScanBalt Campus – an excellent example of the Interreg program ambitions
Setting regions in motion More than 400 participants from Interreg IIIB projects, programme’s stakeholders, pan-Baltic organisations and the European commission met in Malmö, yesterday and today.
The conference was a two-day journey into the world of projects in the Baltic Sea region. Results achieved through transnational cooperation illustrated the added value of INTERREG III B to the region.
ScanBalt Campus took part in the conference and Programme Director Susanne Scherrer said: “ScanBalt Campus is an excellent example of the Interreg IIB ambitions of connecting regions – ScanBalt Campus connects regions through scientifiic knowledgde networks”.
The conference also presented an up-date on the future transnational programme in the Baltic Sea region starting in 2007 and allowed time for a lively debate on key issues of the next programme
