ScanBalt recognised as a Partner Organisation for EU Gateway | Business Avenues
ScanBalt has been recognised by the European Commission as a Partner Organisation for EU Gateway | Business Avenues.
This EU-funded initiative builds on over 25 years of successful experience, helping European companies to establish long-lasting business collaborations in Asia. Between 2016 and 2020 the programme will organise over 50 business missions to Korea, China, Japan and South East Asia (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam).
Business missions are entry tickets to markets with challenging business culture or regulatory constraints. They are open to a total of 2700 selected European companies from the following sectors:
- Green Energy Technologies
- Environment & Water Technologies
- Clean Technologies
- Healthcare & Medical Technologies
- Construction & Building Technologies
- Information & Communication Technologies
- Contemporary European Design
- Organic Food & Beverage
- Railway Technologies & Services
EU Gateway | Business Avenues helps sound out business opportunities in promising markets, minimises the costs typically required to enter a new market, supports companies when making new contacts and strengthening their company network, enables entrepreneurs to discuss challenges and opportunities with industry players and, finally, offers professional coaching and follow-up at all stages.
