SMEs in European Research – Seminar, Oslo. November 12, 2004

The Research Council of Norway is organising an information seminar to take place in Oslo on 12 November with the title ‘More and better SMEs in European research’. It is aimed at stepping up economic and technological intelligence within Europe’s small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) .

The event will be held in English, and will feature expert speakers from Norway, Sweden, Austria and the European Commission. Topics for discussion will include:
– enlarging the SME innovation process;
– achievements, new possibilities and future perspectives;
– building networks to mobilise SMEs in the high tech sector;
– rewards and barriers, success factors and challenges.
