Take the Lab 2020 European survey
Fraunhofer “Lab 2020” – Online Trendstudy for Europe 2007 “Lab 2020” is a conjoint research project initiated by the Fraunhofer Institutes for Industrial Engineering IAO and for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology IGB both located in Stuttgart, Germany. “Lab 2020” aims at building a basis for improving the quality of use and efficiency of lab environments for the life sciences (public and industry funded research for biotech, pharma etc.). The project also aims at improving the well being of people working in lab environments and fostering the overall capability to innovate in lab based research. The work environment is surveyed under process-related, architectural, workplace as well as technology and service aspects – all being important factors to optimize lab work.
To find out about trends and important factors in lab design it is necessary to gain first hand information from lab users. The European Trendstudy 2007 is directed at lab managers, researchers and technicians in life science laboratories.

The study is anonymous. In case you wish to obtain a summary of the research outcomes in spring 2007 you can (but do not have to) leave an e-mail adress at the end of the survey.
