The Joint Polish Investment Fund, (“JPIF”) is a new Life Science Venture Capital Fund with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe.
JPIF aims to create high returns by focusing on investments in Life Science companies with visible value inflection points. The fund is based in the Netherlands with an experienced, international team operating out of Warsaw, Poland.
JPIF will invest in early and mid stage Life Science companies in Central and Eastern Europe with an investment holding period of 3-5 years. In addition the JPIF team will also look at Polish companies which have licensed, partnered or acquired technologies from abroad. JPIF’s aim is to create a high return investment portfolio that leverages the Polish life science cababilities.
The JPIF team will focus on areas with strong growth and high return potential like medical technology, mobile / personalized health, and selected projects in drug development. The aim is to create new deal flow and financing opportunities for the vibrant Polish healthcare innovation economy.
