BSHR HealthPort: Dedicated entrepreneurial education will boost the growth in the Baltic Sea Region

A guide to competence development in innovation and entrepreneurship.

An entrepreneurial culture is the most powerful driver of economic growth and job creation. Education in innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E) increases the competences, develops new skills and capabilities, but also changes the culture, which creates new possibilities, jobs and opens up new markets. When an entrepreneurial culture and performance is present in a region, also within the health care providers this could potentially lead to improved health for the patients and less economic borders in the BSR area. The demand to change behaviour and attitude will put a strain a traditional way of working.
