EMBL collaborates with US partners on Biodiversity

The science of genomics is journeying into uncharted and challenging new waters. Not content with sequencing just one organism, researchers turned their attention to sea water, farm soil and even animal remains. A team from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), together with US partners, is giving the scientific community fresh appreciation of the rich diversity of life that exists in the most unlikely places.
