International seminar on tissue engineering spurred great interest

International Seminar on Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Spurred Great InterestSome 100 persons attended thesymposium on Innovative Cartilage and Bone Repair Advances in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine arranged by GöteborgBIO on 27 March. The speakers brought the participiants on journey through novel methods and intriguing possibilities for today and the future.

Professor Krister Holmberg, Head of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, opened the seminar stating how tissue engineering and regenerative medicine attracts a large interest, and how the two universities in Göteborg — Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg — share an active interest within this field.
