Open Days 2006 – Call for papers

Through its call for papers, the European Commission’s Regional Policy Directorate-General looks for contributions from experts in the field of regional development and the management of Structural Funds. The objective is to select about 100 speakers for a series of 35 workshops, which will be part of the final conference programme.

The conferences sub-headlines are:
(A) Investing in competitive enterprises and high quality jobs;
(B) Fostering regional innovation;
(C) Investing in sustainable use of resources and environmental technologies;
(D) Support public-private partnerships for larger infrastructure projects;
(E) Cutting red tape: Managing the Structural Funds between 2007 and 2013.
